RYA Safe and Fun
Step towards becoming an instructor!
For RYA Dinghy Instructors and instructors in some other disciplines, the RYA Safe and Fun course is a pre-requisite before you can qualify. You’ll need to complete this short online course before you begin on your instructor course. It may also be relevant to those working in club environments.
The course generally takes around three hours to complete. There is no option to complete it in the classroom – although instructor courses follow it up with a short workshop. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate that does not expire.
