April Open Day - sail for £5
Try sailing for the first time – or have a sail outside of the season!
After our first ever open day in April 2023, we are running another in 2025! This year will be extra special because we will be celebrating our 30th year of running!
We’ll be out on the water for a morning and afternoon sail, and cook up a big barbecue for everyone to enjoy at lunchtime! Every boat will have an instructor, so whether you’ve sailed with us before, or its your first ever time in a boat, we’ll make sure you have a great time.
Please bring warm clothing, including a wetsuit if you have it. It can be very chilly on the water! This event is for youth sailors (under-16) only, although parents, guardians and non-sailing siblings are very welcome to sit in the clubhouse and have some barbecue food as well! We will open the clubhouse early for parents to drop off from 9am with the opportunity for breakfast, and the building will be open until 4:45pm for pickup.

Timings: 10:30am – 1pm (morning sail); 1pm – 2:30pm (barbecue); 2:30pm to 4pm (afternoon sail).

Taught by: Instructors, maximum 1:4 ratio
Included: Tuition, personal buoyancy, teas/coffees
